Chapter 7 - Bestiary

The bestiary in Open Hero Odyssey encompass any non-sentient creatures, from animals to actual monstrous beasts, and everything in between. You may notice that the form for creature submission is similar to that of people submission. This is due to the generalized nature of the game; all entities have eight attributes, and have aptitudes with regard to those attributes. Creatures in the bestiary typically have fewer aptitudes, and more points in attributes alone. Some more powerful creatures may have unique abilities not available to hero characters. When it comes to attributes, it is suggested that PERSONALITY and INTELLECT stay at 1, as this represents the amount of either a "beast" would typically display (even the most intelligent ape would still be an INTELLECT 2). A magical creature would have a nonzero MANA score, and APPEARANCE plays a part in horrifying or adorable creatures.
